What are the requirements for a Class B+ licence?

The only exception is if the trailer and vehicle are registered in Norway or another EEA member state, and the vehicles are exempted through an amendment to the vehicle registration certificate, that is accompanied by an entry on the driving licence information page or by the category B+E licence certificate (which can be obtained from the DVLA).
You are not able to obtain a full Category C1+E permit without passing the test for a medium-sized trailer or lorry. This includes passenger vans as well as small HAZMAT vehicles, and HAZMAT vehicles with the necessary equipment to transport hazardous materials.
